About First Class Early Learning Center

Our Mission

At First Class Early Learning Center, our mission is to provide a warm, innovative, and developmentally appropriate learning environment rooted in play, evidence-based curriculum, and strong family partnerships. We strive to cultivate curious thinkers, kind friends, and confident problem-solvers through hands-on exploration, creative expression, SEL, and mindfulness practices.

Our Owner

Hello, I’m Azizi Gates, the owner and founder of First Class Early Learning Center. With over twenty years of experience in early childhood education, I hold a Bachelors in Child & Adolescent Studies, Masters in Educational Leadership, and certifications in Social-Emotional Learning, Mindfulness, Meditation, and Yoga. My passion is creating a warm, high-quality, play-based environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn.

We believe that learning should be fun! Our play-based approach to early childhood education promotes creativity, curiosity, and exploration. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.

Our Programs

We offer a variety of programs to meet your child's needs, including full-time and part-time care, preschool, and infants/toddlers programs. Our experienced teachers provide individual attention and support to each child, helping them to reach their full potential.

Our Curriculum

Preschoolers learn through Big Day for Pre-K and Experience Curriculum, building early literacy, math, science, and creativity through hands-on exploration. Infants and toddlers engage in the Early Learning Matters (ELM) curriculum with responsive caregiving, sensory play, and early language and motor development. Across all ages, we integrate social emotional learning to strengthen confidence and self regulation.

Our Facility

We provide modern, thoughtfully designed classrooms equipped with monitored surveillance to ensure a safe, secure, and transparent environment for every child. Offering a comfortable, stimulating setting with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning materials. Children also enjoy engaging outdoor play areas, supporting healthy growth and development.

Our Staff

Our dedicated and caring staff are passionate about early childhood education and have the experience and qualifications to provide high-quality care. We maintain low teacher-to-child ratios to ensure individual attention and support.
